Mission/Vision Statement

Our purpose is to serve God as the national youth department of the Way of the Cross Church of Christ International.

Our mission is to recruit, train, and empower youth to become Christian ambassadors by emphasizing evangelism, salvation, worship, discipleship, fellowship, leadership, and scholarship.

Our vision is to become a church body that continuously produces saved and successful youth who will make a positive impact on their homes, schools, communities, churches, and careers.

Core Principles

Evangelism - We will obey the great commission of Jesus Christ to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8).

Salvation - We will proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, compelling youth to live saved and holy lives in anticipation of the eminent return of Jesus Christ (John 3:5-7; Acts 2:38; Romans 13:11-12).

Worship - We will plan powerful and anointed worship services that allow youth of all ages to praise and glorify God freely in the beauty of holiness (Psalms 150:1-6; Matthew 21:16; John 4:23-24).

Discipleship - We will teach and train our youth in the Word of God empowering them to apply it successfully in their daily lives (Proverbs 22:6; Colossians 2:6-8).

Fellowship - We will provide opportunities for our youth to fellowship in ways that will foster unity and strength (Psalms 133:1; Luke 22:32; Acts 2:42; Hebrews 10:25).

Leadership - We will prepare our youth to be the leaders of today rather than just leaders of tomorrow (Jeremiah 1:4-10; I Timothy 4:12).

Scholarship - We will encourage our youth to pursue academic and professional excellence while keeping Christ first and foremost in their lives (Genesis 41:37-46; Esther 4:10-17; Daniel 1:3-20).
