Minister Wayne "Troy" Chew

Minister Wayne "Troy" Chew born November 29th, 1975 to Joyce Ann Wills and the late Robert Estep Chew in Anne Arundel County, Maryland and later resided in Bladensburg, Maryland. Minister Chew was brought up in Bethel Way of the Cross Church of Christ under the guidance of the late Bishops Jacob Green and Allen Easton.

He expressed a love for music at an early age and began playing drums in church. After being exposed to the world, he fell away from church and started playing in go-go bands at the age of thirteen through nineteen, as stated before he was brought up in church but CHRIST WAS NOT IN HIM. In 1994, it was as if God said that is enough and showed him that there was purpose for his life. Not long after God filled him with the gift of the Holy Ghost. REBORN (THANK GOD) and that's when God took what Troy thought was a talent and made it a gift for God’s Glory.

In 1998, he married the best that God had created, Latosha (A True Powerhouse in her own right) and later blessed them with two daughters Dasia and Nevaeh. Minister Chew is now under the leadership of his Pastor, Bishop Darnell Easton; he was chosen to serve on the Deacon Board and later elevated to the Ministerial Board. Currently he serves as a teacher of the Discipleship Christian Education, Assistant Minister of Music, Praise and Worship Team Leader, and Musician. Minister Chew has played for various gospel recording artist. God is continually building him up in Ministry.

Elder James Edison Tyson, II

Elder James Edison Tyson, II was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Suffragan Bishop C. Shawn and Evang. Krista M. Tyson. James was affectionately named after his paternal and sainted Grandfather, The Honorable Bishop James E. Tyson.

He received the gift of the Holy Ghost at age eleven and began his preaching ministry at the age of thirteen becoming an example that you are never too young to be used by God.

In 2012, The Lord commissioned Elder Tyson to bring into manifestation a vision that would call this generation back to unity. Without question this was a great task, but standing confident on the word of God, the support of his pastor/father, mother, and the call to destiny, he stepped out on faith to produce the "Back at One" Conference. Through the dynamic teaching, powerful preaching, holistic development, unrestricted worship, and fellowship during "Back at One" souls have been saved, lives have been changed, many have been delivered from bondage, purpose has been birthed, and world changers have emanated.

Elder Tyson graduated from Youngstown State University in December of 2015 and is degreed with his BSBA(Bachelor of Science in Business Administration) with a concentration in Management and a Certificate in Leadership. He continues to uphold the standard and importance of education in the lives of our youth.

Elder Tyson is a member of Christ Church Apostolic in Indianapolis, IN, where the Pastor is his father, Suffragan Bishop C. Shawn Tyson.

On November 7, 2015, Elder Tyson was joined in holy matrimony to his best friend and love of his life, Lady Desiree Tyson. They are the parents of Caden Shawn and Kristen Valerie Tyson. Together they strive to be godly examples and win souls for Christ.
He allows his life to reflect the message he preaches and remind us all that we are, as the scripture states in I Peter 2:9, “a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people.” Elder Tyson has made it his personal mission to let the masses know that “Jesus is coming SUDDENLY!"
