District Elder Johnathan Mintz

Pastor Johnathan Mintz is a native of Orangeburg, SC. He is married to Lady Wanda Guess Mintz, a native of Vance, SC. They now reside in St. Matthews, SC. Pastor and Lady Mintz have been blessed with six children – Jonathan, Julai, Justin, Jayden, and twins Joshua and Jackson. They are also the proud grand parents of their pride and joy, Johanna.

Pastor Mintz was called to the ministry under the leadership of his grandfather the late Bishop L. W. Mintz. While serving there at St. James Church of God, Pastor and Lady Mintz along with a small team of believers began, in 2004, a street ministry which birthed Stand for Christ Ministries. In May 2015, Pastor Mintz assisted Bishop Herfort M. Smith in the ministry during his illness. From that time until now, Pastor Mintz has served the Faith Tabernacle Way of the Cross Church, striving to build upon the foundation that has already been laid.

Armed with a burning desire to fulfill the call of God upon his life, Pastor Mintz has taken on the burden to serve in many areas within and without his organizational affiliation. In the Way of the Cross Church of Christ International he currently serves as the Assistant General Secretary, the President of the International Youth for Christ, the Southern Regional YFC president and Minister of Music, and in SC, the District Elder of District 4.

Outside of the organization, Pastor Mintz serves as the President of the Fresh Wind Leadership Conference which partners with churches and affiliates in Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. He also spearheads a thriving Tent Meeting Crusade which takes the gospel to unchurched communities to win the lost at any cost.

Pastor Mintz simply loves to preach and teach the Word of God. As demonstrated in his preaching and vibrant praise and worship, he is passionate about serving God with all his might.

With great enthusiasm and vitality, Pastor Mintz works tirelessly to ensure that he is found worthy of the vocation wherewith he has been called!
